Telugu actor Vishwak Sen, renowned for his dynamic roles, encountered an unfortunate accident during the rehearsals of his upcoming film ‘Gangs of Godavari.’ While practising an action sequence atop a lorry, the actor slipped and sustained injuries, leading to his hospitalization.

Accident During Rehearsals

During intense preparations for a pivotal action scene, Vishwak Sen fell while atop a lorry, resulting in injuries that required immediate medical attention. Though reports emerged recently, it’s clarified that the footage circulated online was from previous rehearsals, and the actor has since recuperated.

Recovery and Return to Sets

Following a brief hiatus, the ‘HIT’ actor has remarkably recovered and has returned to the film’s set. The filmmakers reassured fans of his well-being and conveyed that he’s back on track, continuing his commitment to the project.

Vishwak Sen’s Recent Works

Vishwak Sen was last seen in ‘Das Ka Dhamki,’ an action-comedy film where he portrayed both the hero and the antagonist, receiving mixed yet positive reviews. Additionally, his appearance in the horror-thriller ‘Boo,’ a Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie led by Rakul Preet Singh, premiered on Jio Cinemas.

Upcoming Projects

‘Gangs of Godavari,’ set in the 1980s, delves into the realm of thugs and politics in the Eluru and Godavari coastal regions. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film stars Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty, and Anjali in significant roles, featuring musical compositions by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Apart from ‘Gangs of Godavari,’ Vishwak Sen is slated to appear in two other anticipated films: tentatively titled ‘VS10’ and ‘Gaami,’ promising audiences a diverse array of performances and stories shortly.

Despite the setback due to the injury, Vishwak Sen’s resilience and commitment to his craft reflect his dedication to delivering compelling performances, drawing anticipation for his forthcoming ventures in Telugu cinema.
