Hyderabad, India.
In a landmark move for Indian combat sports, BoxingBay and Anthony Pettis Fighting Championship (APFC) India are set to stream live worldwide on the UFC App. This marks the first time that an Indian combat sports event will be broadcast on the official platform of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC Fight Pass — the premier destination for fight fans across the globe.

The first two events to be streamed are APFC India 1 on 5 December and BoxingBay 4 on 21 December, with Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Visakhapatnam serving as the primary host cities. This milestone positions Indian boxing and MMA on the international stage, offering unprecedented exposure and opportunities for homegrown fighters.

BoxingBay and APFC India now join more than 38 global combat sports organisations whose 200+ annual events are streamed via the UFC App and watched by millions of viewers worldwide. The partnership provides Indian athletes with a direct pathway to international platforms and gives fans access to premium live fight nights from India.

Actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati, co-promoter of BoxingBay, said,

“BoxingBay is redefining how the world experiences Indian boxing. Having our events streamed globally on the UFC App is a significant step towards placing Indian boxing firmly on the world map. This is just the beginning of a much larger movement to grow the sport at every level.”

Former UFC Lightweight Champion and founder of APFC India Anthony Pettis added,

“Bringing APFC to India is a proud milestone in our global expansion. Through UFC Fight Pass, we’re excited to showcase India’s incredible talent on an international stage and connect fans around the world with the future of mixed martial arts.”

Hunter Campbell, Chief Business Officer at UFC, stated,

“India is one of the fastest-growing fan bases for MMA. These Fight Pass events will help build rising stars in the region and elevate the sport to the next level.”

With over 10 million downloads, the UFC App offers an enormous platform for Indian fighters to gain global visibility. This development not only gives fighters access to international audiences but also strengthens India’s footprint in the global combat sports ecosystem, inspiring growth from grassroots to the professional level.
