Superstar Rajinikanth is back on the sets of his highly anticipated action thriller, ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. After completing his portion for the film a month ago, Rajinikanth has resumed shooting for a four to five-day schedule in Chennai, as reported by The Times of India. The short schedule will reportedly include the participation of Jackie Shroff and other members of the cast, marking the final leg of the film’s shooting. The team is expected to make a wrap-up announcement after completing the Chennai schedule.

‘Jailer’ is set to have a grand pan-India release on August 10 and features Rajinikanth in the role of Jailer Muthuvel Pandian. The film boasts a stellar star cast, including Priyanka Mohan, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and Tamannaah Bhatia in significant roles. Notably, Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Vikram actor Jaffer Sadiq will also make special appearances in the film.

The teaser of ‘Jailer’ was released earlier this month by the production house Sun Pictures, offering glimpses of the talented ensemble cast. The film is being produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

In addition to ‘Jailer,’ Rajinikanth is simultaneously working on ‘Lal Salaam,’ directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. In the sports drama, Rajinikanth will be seen in an extended cameo. Having completed his portion for ‘Lal Salaam’ in Mumbai, the megastar took a break to fulfil his commitments for ‘Jailer.’

Fans of Rajinikanth are eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Jailer’ and are thrilled to witness the superstar’s captivating performance in the action-packed entertainer.
