Mumbai: Superstar Rajinikanth, known for his larger-than-life persona, recently surprised his fans by travelling in economy class on a flight. The 74-year-old actor, who is currently busy shooting for his much-anticipated sequel Jailer 2, was seen boarding a flight with his daughter, Aishwaryaa.

As the flight took off, a fan from the back of the cabin yelled, “Thalaiva…face pakanum (Thalaiva, I want to see your face).” Upon hearing this, Rajinikanth stood up from his seat and greeted the passengers, turning the flight into an impromptu fan-meet. His simple yet endearing gesture left everyone on board excited, making it an unforgettable moment for his fellow travellers.

Rajinikanth’s Upcoming Projects:

After the success of Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his next big project, Coolie. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is an action-packed thriller where Rajinikanth plays Deva, a former daily wage worker with a dark past. The story follows Deva’s return after nearly 30 years, to help his close friend Rajasekhar who’s in trouble, leading to intense confrontations and adversaries.

In Coolie, Rajinikanth is joined by an exciting ensemble cast. Nagarjuna Akkineni will play the antagonist for the first time, while Upendra Rao has a key role. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will also make a cameo appearance. The film features Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Reba Monica John, and Charle in significant roles, with Pooja Hegde performing a special dance number in the song Monica.
