Shah Rukh Khan led Jawan inspired by 2 films of Amitabh Bachchan & Kamal Haasan?

Megastar Shahrukh Khan was last seen in the blockbuster Pathaan. Now, the actor is gearing up for his upcoming film Jawan. The film directed by talented director Atlee has been a target of lots of rumours and speculations.

Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is inspired by Amitabh bachchan’s Aakhree Raasta, which was a remake of Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film Oru Kaidhiyin Diary. A source close to Bollywood Hungama revealed, “Akhree Raasta and Oru Kaidhiyin Diary featured Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in a double role of a father and son. Similarly, Jawan features Shah Rukh Khan in a double role of a father and son. Much like Akhree Raasta, Jawan is also a revenge story with the same conflict points,”

The source futher added, “However, it’s not a remake but an inspiration. Atlee has taken the core plot and come out with a new story for today’s audience. The emotions remain the same, but the treatment is very modern,”

Meanwhile, Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara is slated to release on 2^nd June 2023. It also features Vijay Sethupathi is key role.
