Popular Actress to Share Screen with Chiru Once Again

Megastar Chiranjeevi has joined hands with director Anil Ravipudi for a high-profile project, produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment. The film was recently launched with much fanfare, and regular shooting is expected to begin shortly.

With plans to release the film during Sankranthi 2026, the makers are actively searching for the perfect female lead. According to the latest buzz, Nayanthara is being considered for the role. If finalized, this would mark her third collaboration with Chiranjeevi after Syeraa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.

In Syeraa, Nayanthara played Chiru’s wife, though her role didn’t leave much of an impact. In Godfather, she portrayed his sister and earned appreciation for her performance. However, the film didn’t resonate with audiences and underperformed at the box office. Fans are now hopeful that a third collaboration could finally bring a blockbuster for the duo.

Earlier rumors suggested Mrunal Thakur was in the running for the lead role, but those claims turned out to be unfounded. It’s also being reported that the film may feature a second heroine, though no official word has been given on that front.

Meanwhile, director Anil Ravipudi has reportedly locked the script and is currently scouting locations while finalizing the cast. With pre-production in full swing, filming is expected to commence soon.
