In the early hours of Wednesday, India launched a precision counter-attack targeting nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The mission, code-named Operation Sindoor, was carried out in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives. According to initial reports, over 80 terrorists were killed in the strikes.

The name “Operation Sindoor” — a symbolic reference to sacrifice and national pride — was shared by the Indian Army across social media, resonating deeply with citizens and public figures alike. Members of the Indian film industry swiftly reacted to the operation, expressing solidarity with the armed forces.

Veteran actor Chiranjeevi posted the Operation Sindoor image with the words “Jai Hind,” echoing the nationalistic sentiment.

Riteish Deshmukh also responded early, writing, “Jai Hind Ki Sena… Bharat Mata Ki Jai!!!!! #OperationSindoor.”

Kajal Aggarwal shared a message of support from Maitribodh Parivaar, while Nimrat Kaur posted the viral vermillion-themed image, writing, “United with our forces. One country. One mission. #JaiHind #OperationSindoor.”

Actor Paresh Rawal also reacted on X, joining a growing chorus of voices from the entertainment world. Actor Taapsee Pannu spotlighted the Hemkunt Foundation’s relief efforts in the wake of the strikes, and South Indian actor Bindu Madhavi expressed support as well.
