Bollywood’s biggest action-thriller ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, is all set to release in Bangladesh on May 12th. The film has already made history with a worldwide gross of over 1050 crores, making it the highest-grossing film in the history of Hindi cinema.

Notably, ‘Pathaan’ will become the first Hindi film to release in Bangladesh post-partition, a fact that has thrilled the film’s team. Nelson D’Souza, Vice President of International Distribution, expressed his excitement at the opportunity, saying, “We are incredibly thrilled that ‘Pathaan’, which has done historic business worldwide, will now get a chance to entertain audiences in Bangladesh!”

The film, which marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen after a four-year hiatus, saw the superstar sharing screen space with John Abraham for the first time. Salman Khan also appeared in a cameo role.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Pathaan’ is the latest offering from YRF’s Spy Universe. The film’s success has only increased the excitement among fans for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming projects, including ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki.’

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for her next release ‘Fighter,’ which also stars Hrithik Roshan. The actor is also set to appear in the Hollywood remake ‘The Intern alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

With the release of ‘Pathaan’ in Bangladesh, fans of Hindi cinema are eagerly waiting to see how the film performs in the new market and if it sets a new milestone in the history of Hindi cinema’s international reach.
