Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently revealed the challenges she faced while shooting the romantic comedy film “Love Again.” Starring alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, Priyanka admitted that generating the required emotions on set was difficult due to the daunting atmosphere created by the coronavirus pandemic. The actress shared her experiences with Entertainment Weekly, describing the initial fear and the need to bring lightness and fun to the set.

During the pandemic, the world was going through a scary and challenging time, and as actors, Priyanka explained that they were the ones who had to remove their masks on set. She recalled feeling terrified at first but emphasized the importance of creating a positive and enjoyable environment on set. Laughter, jokes, and a shared sense of joy became crucial to inspiring and uplifting the cast and crew. However, Priyanka acknowledged that it was not an easy task.

In the film, Priyanka plays the character of Mira Ray, who is struggling to cope with the loss of her fiancé. She begins sending romantic messages to his old phone number, which has been reassigned to journalist Rob Burns, portrayed by Sam Heughan. Rob becomes captivated by Mira’s beautiful texts and enlists the help of Celine Dion to find her in real life when he is assigned to write a feature about the renowned singer.

Sam Heughan, known for his role in “Outlander,” revealed that one of the main reasons he accepted the opportunity to play the male lead in the film was the timing. After experiencing lockdowns and isolation, he believed that everyone was craving joy and positivity. He considered “Love Again” to be a well-timed movie that could provide much-needed escape and inspiration amidst the pandemic and the challenges faced globally.

The shooting experience of “Love Again” highlights the resilience and determination of the cast and crew to create a lighthearted and uplifting film despite the challenging circumstances. Audiences eagerly anticipate the release of the romantic comedy, looking forward to the chemistry between Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan, as well as the involvement of renowned singer Celine Dion in the storyline.
