Telugu star Nani, basking in the success of ‘Dasara,’ gears up for two promising ventures: ‘Hi Nanna,’ a romantic family drama set for release on December 7, and ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,’ an action-packed spectacle, now in the initial stages of shooting.

Nani’s proactive promotion of ‘Hi Nanna’ included an engaging AskMeAnything session on social media, where fans delved into film-related queries and more. Amidst this, a fan’s political query on the Telangana Assembly election results intrigued the actor. Nani compared the political transformation to a movie narrative, citing the 10-year rule of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) akin to a blockbuster, now replaced by the ‘movie at the theatre’ changing, indicating the Indian National Congress’s ascent to power. Expressing hope for the new administration’s success, Nani ingeniously connected the political shift to the film world.

Further, director Venu Yeldandi of ‘Balagam fame might collaborate with Nani soon, as the actor expressed keenness to work under his direction during the interactive session with fans. Nani’s eagerness to explore projects with new directors hints at a potentially exciting collaboration in the pipeline.

Regarding ‘Hi Nanna,’ the film’s emotional depth struck a chord with members of the censor board, reportedly moving them to tears during screening. The tender moments between Nani and Kiara, portraying a heartfelt bond between father and child, deeply resonated with the board members. The movie, also starring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, seems poised to touch hearts with its poignant storytelling.

As ‘Hi Nanna’ nears its release, Nani continues to captivate audiences not just on screen but also through his astute observations and openness to diverse directorial ventures.
