Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde starrer SSMB28 to go on floors on January 18

The eagerly awaited SSMB28 is already creating immense buzz courtesy, the massive fandom of Telugu Prince Mahesh Babu. Adding to that is popular filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo fame who will be reuniting with his Khaleja actor in this film along with Pooja Hegde as the leading lady has only added to the anticipation. The latest update on the much-talked-about SSMB28 is that the film will go on floors in Hyderabad on January 18.

A source close to the film said, “The regular shoot of SSMB28 will begin tomorrow. The shooting will take place non-stop and Mahesh Babu will also be joining the shoot tomorrow. This highly anticipated film is going to be produced on a massive scale with huge budget. This is the third film in the combination of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas after Athadu and Khaleja.”

Talking further about the film, the source added, “Trivikram penned a first-of-its-kind subject to present Mahesh Babu in a never seen before character. The superstar who underwent a new makeover will appear in a rugged avatar with long hair and a beard. It is going to be an epic action entertainer laced with family elements.”

Pooja Hegde will be seen reuniting with superstar Mahesh Babu for SSMB28 after they came together for Vamshi Paidipally’s Maharishi (2019). Some more noted actors will be a part of the film but the details of the same are kept under wraps.

Also, we hear that a spectacular team of technicians have been roped in for the team of the film to take care of different crafts. S Radhakrishna (China Babu) will be producing it in association with Tollywood production house Haarika & Hassine Creations. The film will be edited by national award-winning technician Navin Nooli, whereas the rest of the crew will comprise of art director AS Prakash, famous Telugu music director S Thaman and cinematographer PS Vinod.
