RRR continues its unstoppable global journey, this time taking over the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London for an unforgettable musical celebration. Nearly a year after the film’s Oscar win for Naatu Naatu, the cinematic phenomenon is being honored with a grand concert and screening on May 11—featuring none other than superstar Mahesh Babu as a surprise guest.
Buzz has been building across social media as photos and videos show Mahesh Babu heading to London, where he’ll join the original RRR trio—Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and director SS Rajamouli—for this one-of-a-kind event. The evening promises to be both a tribute to RRR’s international impact and a tantalizing preview of Rajamouli’s upcoming project, SSMB29, which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead.
The celebration will begin with Ram Charan and Jr NTR personally introducing the film, followed by a rare Q&A session that offers fans a behind-the-scenes look into the making of this cinematic milestone. Though not part of RRR’s original cast, Mahesh Babu’s presence has added a fresh wave of excitement—especially with his collaboration with Rajamouli generating massive anticipation.
Music will be at the heart of the night, with Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani leading a live performance of the RRR score. The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Ben Pope, will perform alongside the film, creating an immersive and emotionally charged viewing experience.
This marks Rajamouli’s second major event at the Royal Albert Hall; in 2019, Baahubali: The Beginning was screened there with a live score—making history as the first non-English film to receive such an honor in the venue’s 148-year legacy. That evening ended with a standing ovation, and organizers are expecting an encore of that electrifying energy this time around.
