The upcoming film Adipurush, featuring a stellar cast including Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, has been generating immense anticipation among fans. Recently, the trailer of Adipurush was unveiled, leaving audiences mesmerized by its breathtaking visuals and captivating background music. The trailer featured the iconic song “Jai Shri Ram,” and today, the makers of the film unveiled the full song at a grand event in Mumbai. Surprisingly, the music composer duo Ajay-Atul shared that they composed this powerful song in a remarkably short span of just four days!

During the song launch event, Ajay-Atul revealed their creative process, stating, “This is the first song we composed for Adipurush. We heard Om Raut’s vision, and after four days, we met him again. The name ‘Jai Shri Ram’ holds so much power that the devotion and strength for it came from within. It was unprecedented for us to compose a song in just four days, but it happened effortlessly. We wanted to showcase the power of the score and achieve a marching effect.”

The composers further emphasized that the song aimed to capture the deep emotional connection people have with Shri Ram. They expressed, “This song will transport people into the world of our film. Although we didn’t have many visuals during the composition process, director Om Raut crafted fantastic visuals to complement the song. Manoj Muntashir has penned the lyrics amazingly, infusing the song with both power and devotion. It has the required strength, but we also wanted to evoke a sense of devotion, which Manoj brought to the song.”

Ajay-Atul shared that from the beginning, they planned the song to be sung by a chorus, aiming for a collective impact. They highlighted that after a long time, a song has been released that has not been sung by a specific artist but rather by a chorus.

Adipurush, helmed by director Om Raut, is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. The highly-anticipated film is set to have a global release on June 16, 2023.

As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await the cinematic experience that Adipurush promises, featuring captivating music, stellar performances, and an enthralling retelling of the epic tale.
