Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, known for his blockbuster films like “Baahubali” and “RRR,” recently took a much-needed break from his busy schedule and embarked on a rejuvenating road trip to various temples in Tamil Nadu. Sharing his experiences and moments from the trip, Rajamouli expressed how refreshing and uplifting the journey was, especially after spending three months abroad.

In an Instagram post, Rajamouli shared a video that showcased his visit to prominent temples in Tamil Nadu, including Srirangam, Darasuram, Brihadeeswarar Koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi, and Madurai. The renowned filmmaker, accompanied by his daughter who desired to explore the temples, expressed his admiration for the exquisite architecture, impressive engineering, and profound spiritual heritage left behind by rulers such as the Pandyas, Chozhas, Nayakkars, and others.

Rajamouli also highlighted the culinary delights he experienced during his trip, praising the fine dining in places like Mantrakoodam, Kumbakonam, and the renowned Kaka Hotel Murugan Mess in Rameshwaram. He humorously admitted that he may have put on a few kilos within a week, given the delectable food he indulged in. After months of foreign travel and cuisine, Rajamouli found solace in exploring his homeland and reconnecting with its rich cultural heritage.

The filmmaker’s video garnered enthusiastic responses from his fans and followers, who commended him for promoting Tamil Nadu’s temples and showcasing the beauty of the state. On a professional front, SS Rajamouli is currently preparing for his next project, tentatively titled “SSMB29,” which features Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role. This pan-Indian adventure drama, set in an African jungle, is slated to begin shooting next year. Rajamouli recently announced that the film will be launched on August 9, coinciding with Mahesh Babu’s birthday. Fans are eagerly awaiting this collaboration between two prominent talents in Indian cinema.

As Rajamouli continues to captivate audiences with his grand visions and storytelling prowess, his Tamil Nadu road trip serves as a reminder of the importance of taking breaks, appreciating cultural heritage, and finding inspiration in the beauty of one’s homeland.
