Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s highly anticipated wedding reception took place in grand style at Shilpa Shetty’s restaurant, Bastian, in Mumbai. After their earlier marriage ceremony under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi’s new apartment, the couple hosted a lavish event for friends and family.

For the reception, the elegant Sonakshi Sinha chose to wear a striking red Banarasi saree from the renowned designer label Raw Mango. The saree, meticulously crafted from silk brocade, featured the exquisite ‘chand buta’ (crescent moon) motif and was accented with a rich golden zari border. Priced at Rs 79,800, this six-yard wonder is available online, reflecting the actress’s preference for timeless classics.

Sonakshi complemented her saree with a matching red blouse, showcasing a traditional yet modern ensemble. Her hair was elegantly styled in a middle-parted sleek bun adorned with delicate white flowers, adding a touch of grace to her bridal look. A subtle red bindi, red glass bangles, and an understated lip colour completed her attire, highlighting her natural beauty amidst the festivities.

The reception was attended by a star-studded lineup of Bollywood celebrities, including Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Chunky Panday, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Arbaaz Khan, and Aditya Roy Kapur, among others. It was a glittering affair that marked the union of Sonakshi and Zaheer with warmth and glamour.

Sonakshi’s choice of the traditional Banarasi saree over a conventional lehenga for her wedding celebrations symbolized her personal style statement and resonated with elegance and cultural richness, making her a standout bride in the hearts of her admirers and peers alike.
