As the highly anticipated film Adipurush gears up for its theatrical release, Bollywood actors Ram Charan and Ranbir Kapoor have stepped forward to support underprivileged children by pledging to purchase thousands of tickets for the epic saga.

Adipurush, set to hit theatres this week, has generated immense excitement among audiences eager to witness the grand retelling of the ancient Indian epic, Ramayana. The story of Lord Ram, an embodiment of righteousness and ideal leadership, holds deep significance in Indian culture and spirituality. Recognizing the importance of passing on these timeless tales to future generations, Ranbir Kapoor recently announced his commitment to buying 10,000 tickets of Adipurush for underprivileged kids.

Joining this philanthropic endeavour, renowned actor Ram Charan, known for his role in RRR, has also decided to distribute 10,000 tickets of the Prabhas-starrer to underprivileged children and his fans. Ram Charan and his father Chiranjeevi have a deep inclination towards spirituality, as evident from their previous expressions of devotion to Lord Hanuman. When Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Konidela, confirmed her pregnancy on social media, the couple shared a picture of Lord Hanuman along with a family statement expressing their gratitude and blessings.

The news of Ranbir Kapoor’s philanthropic act was confirmed by movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, who took to Instagram to share the update. Indian entrepreneur and singer Ananya Birla has also joined the cause, pledging to distribute 10,000 movie tickets of Adipurush to various NGOs working for the welfare of underprivileged children.

Adipurush features a stellar cast including Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan portraying the characters of Raghav, Janaki, and Lankesh respectively. Marathi actor Devdutta Nage essays the role of Lord Hanuman, while Sunny Singh portrays Laxman, the divine incarnation of the chief serpent deity Sheshnaag. Directed by Om Raut, the film is based on the revered Indian scriptures, saint Valmiki’s Ramayana and sage Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas.

With generous support from actors like Ram Charan and Ranbir Kapoor, underprivileged children will have the opportunity to experience the grandeur and moral teachings of Adipurush. The film’s release on June 16, 2023, is eagerly awaited by audiences worldwide, who are excited to immerse themselves in this epic saga.
