Rajinikanth’s Jailer to release this August

Megastar Rajinikanth is gearing up for his upcoming film Jailer. He was last seen in Annatthe. Reportedly, Jailer is going to be Rajinikanth’s most expensive film in recent years. The film is directed by Nelson. The film has been in production in different parts of the country including Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kerala.

According to the latest reports, Jailer is set to release in August during Vinayaka Chaturthi Festival. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, and Priyanka Mohan among others. The film is much-anticipated as this is Rajinikanths’ first release almost after two years. It is touted to be an action thriller.

Jailer is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures on a big-budget. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Vijay Karthik Kannan cranks the camera. Jailer will be edited by “Beast” fame R Nirmal and. On the other hand, it has been said that Rajinikanth will join hands with “Jai Bhim” fame T G Gnanavel for another project.
