The highly anticipated Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer’ has concluded its shooting schedule, as announced by the makers on Thursday night. The team marked the momentous occasion by sharing a series of photos featuring Rajinikanth and the crew on the sets. The superstar, along with Tamannaah Bhatia and director Nelson Dilipkumar, celebrated the film’s wrap-up by cutting a cake.

Taking to Twitter, the makers shared the joyous moments from the set as Rajinikanth can be seen flashing a thumbs-up gesture, donning a smile, and cutting a large cake. Tamannaah Bhatia and director Nelson Dilipkumar joined him in the celebrations. The team also posed for a group photo, capturing the essence of their successful journey.

‘Jailer’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is an action thriller that features Rajinikanth in the role of a determined jailer on a mission. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar as the lead antagonist, alongside Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and others in supporting roles. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal will make a special appearance, adding to the star power of the film. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is also part of the project.

The music for ‘Jailer’ has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Vijay Kartik Kannan serves as the director of photography. Kalanithi Maran produces the film under the renowned banner of Sun Pictures. ‘Jailer’ is set to hit theatres on August 11, 2023, and will face a box office clash with Chiranjeevi’s ‘Bholaa Shankar’.

In addition to ‘Jailer’, Rajinikanth is currently engaged in shooting for his upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam’, helmed by his daughter Aishwaryaa. The veteran actor will portray the character of Moideen Bhai in the movie. While the first look of Rajinikanth from ‘Lal Salaam’ received immense love from fans, the poster quality faced some backlash. Nevertheless, the film holds great promise and features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in leading roles.
