Talented actress Radhika Apte is all set to captivate the audience with her powerful performance as she takes on the lead role in the upcoming suspense thriller ‘A Train from Chaprola.’ The film marks the directorial debut of actor-turned-director Tisca Chopra, known for her notable performances in over 50 films. Written and directed by Tisca Chopra, the murder mystery promises to showcase Radhika Apte as a strong, confident modern woman with intricately woven layers.

The suspense thriller, set in the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand, will delve into the depths of a complex character essayed by Radhika Apte. As per insiders, Tisca Chopra’s script offers a gripping narrative that challenges the actress to portray a multi-dimensional character with nuances and depth. ‘A Train from Chaprola’ is scheduled to commence shooting in September.

Interestingly, the film was initially offered to Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan, but she opted out of the project, possibly due to her prior commitments. Nonetheless, Radhika Apte’s inclusion in the lead role has generated immense excitement among fans and industry peers alike.

Adding to the excitement of the project, eminent fashion designer Manish Malhotra will venture into film production for the first time, producing ‘A Train from Chaprola’ under his banner, Stage 5. The acclaimed designer, known for his iconic creations, has three other projects lined up in collaboration with Jio Studios, marking his foray into the world of production.

For Manish Malhotra’s second venture, the film ‘Bun Tikki’ directed by Faraz Arif Ansari will feature Abhay Deol, Shabana Azmi, and Zeenat Aman in pivotal roles. Additionally, the third project, ‘Chalat Musafir,’ directed by Vibhu Puri, will star the versatile actor Vijay Varma in the lead role.

As for Radhika Apte, the versatile actress has several exciting projects in her pipeline. Apart from her role in the star-studded film ‘Merry Christmas,’ alongside Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, she is rumoured to be working on an international project, details of which are currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Tisca Chopra will also be seen in Abbas Mustan’s Netflix film titled ‘Penthouse’ and Homi Adajania’s directorial ‘Murder Mubarak.’ She will further grace the screen in Disney+ Hotstar’s horror series ‘Fear 1.0,’ displaying her range as a talented artist.

The combination of Radhika Apte’s versatile acting prowess and Tisca Chopra’s directorial skills is bound to create a captivating cinematic experience in ‘A Train from Chaprola,’ leaving audiences eagerly awaiting its release.
