The much-anticipated Prabhas-led action spectacle, ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,’ directed by Prashanth Neel, is set to make its mark across Latin American theatres, marking its Spanish debut on March 7, 2024. The official announcement from the film’s creators shared on their official X handle, generated waves of anticipation among global audiences for this epic action saga.

The film’s colossal success in India and globally has shattered box office records, revitalizing Prabhas’ post-‘Baahubali 2′ cinematic journey. Audiences and critics alike have applauded Prabhas’ exceptional portrayal, especially during the gripping action sequences, embodying a character brimming with intensity and volatility.

‘Salaar’ narrates the tale of Deva and Varadharaja Mannar, best friends caught in a coup d’état that threatens the latter’s ascension to the throne of the fictional kingdom of Khansaar. In a gripping narrative, Mannar seeks aid from his fiercely violent comrade, portrayed by Prabhas, whose unyielding resolve knows no bounds in protecting his friend.

Director Prashanth Neel, drawing from his 2014 debut film ‘Ugramm,’ has crafted ‘Salaar’ on a grand scale, enriching the storyline and magnifying its impact.

The film boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Tinnu Anand, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Mime Gopi, John Vijay, among others, delivering pivotal performances.

Fueling the film’s emotional depth and intensity is the musical brilliance of Ravi Basrur, complementing the visual extravaganza created by the visionary director. ‘Salaar’ is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the prestigious Hombale Films banner, renowned for its successful ventures such as ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ and ‘KGF: Chapter 2.’

This release marks the commencement of a two-part cinematic saga, with the sequel, ‘Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam,’ anticipated to hit screens in 2025, continuing the epic narrative.

As ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ ventures into Latin America, fans await its arrival, eager to experience the breathtaking action and immersive storytelling on the big screen.
