Prabhas and Kriti Starrer “Adipurush” Receives U-Certificate, Becomes Every Indian’s Epic

As the highly anticipated film “Adipurush” gears up for its release, the excitement among audiences continues to soar. The movie, produced by Bhushan Kumar and directed by Om Raut, has already captured the hearts of many. Now, with its U-Certificate from the censor board, it has become “Har Bhartiya Ki Adipurush!”

From the captivating trailer and soulful songs, it is evident that “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is not just another entertainer. It is a beautiful medium to enlighten and educate younger generations about an essential aspect of Indian mythology. In a separate post, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s duration on Twitter, stating, “#Xclusiv… ‘ADIPURUSH’ HINDI RUN TIME… #Adipurush HINDI certified ‘U’ by #CBFC on 8 June 2023. Duration: 179.00 min:sec [2 hours, 59 min, 00 sec]. #India.”

Directed by Om Raut, “Adipurush” is a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Prabhas takes on the role of Raghav, while Kriti Sanon portrays Janaki. The film also features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist, King Ravana, and Sunny Singh as Laxman. “Adipurush” is being hailed as the biggest film in Prabhas’ career, a mythological drama crafted with a budget of Rs 300 crore. It is a joint production of Bhushan Kumar’s T-series and Retrophiles. The film is scheduled for release on June 16, 2023.
