Prabhas’ Adipurush to Make World Premiere at Tribeca Festival, Kriti Sanon Excited

Indian cinema is all set to conquer the global stage as Adipurush, the highly-anticipated magnum opus, is scheduled to have its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York on June 13, 2023. The festival, which celebrates storytelling in all its forms, will showcase Adipurush in the 3D format as a “Midnight Offering.” The movie stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles, and is directed by national award-winning director Om Raut.

Kriti Sanon, who is playing the role of Sita in the movie, expressed her excitement about the world premiere on Instagram, writing, “Beyond thrilled and proud that #Adipurush will have its world premiere at the prestigious #TribecaFestival on June 13th, 2023 in New York! See you guys there…” The movie is set to release in India and globally on June 16.

Adipurush, which is based on the greatest epic in Indian history and culture, The Ramayana, is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Prabhas, who plays the role of Lord Ram in the movie, expressed his honour and privilege to be a part of a project that mirrors the ethos of the nation. The actor said, “To see our Indian films, especially one that is so close to me, Adipurush, reach the global stage makes me extremely proud not only as an actor but as an Indian too. I look forward to seeing the audience response at Tribeca.”

With Adipurush’s world premiere at the Tribeca Festival, Indian cinema continues to make its mark on the global stage, and audiences around the world are eagerly anticipating the release of this epic movie.
