The highly anticipated film Adipurush, starring Prabhas, is set to release in theatres this Friday, and fans are eagerly waiting to witness the epic on the big screen. Initially, reports were suggesting that the film would not receive a 3D IMAX release in India, which left fans disappointed. However, it has now been confirmed that Adipurush will indeed have a 3D IMAX release, putting an end to the rumours.

The speculation surrounding the absence of a 3D IMAX release for Adipurush stemmed from rumours that Warner Bros Pictures had blocked the IMAX screens for their film, The Flash, which is also releasing on the same date. Fans expressed their disappointment on social media and appealed to director Om Raut and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series to secure an IMAX release for Adipurush. However, the producer of the film, Karthik Gowda, clarified that these rumours are untrue.

Adipurush will be released in both 2D and 3D formats and will also be presented in 3D IMAX. The film is set for a pan-Indian release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, catering to a wide audience across the country.

In related news, the nationwide bookings for Adipurush are set to open on Sunday, June 11. While ticket bookings have already begun in Telangana, they are on hold in Andhra Pradesh due to discussions regarding ticket prices. Reports suggest that there has been a hike in ticket prices in Telangana, and a meeting with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled today to discuss the potential ticket price hike in Andhra Pradesh.

Adipurush is inspired by the famous mythological drama Ramayana, with Prabhas essaying the role of Raghava (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Ravana). This magnum opus is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair, with an estimated budget of Rs. 500 crores.

As the release date approaches, the excitement among fans continues to grow, and they eagerly await the grand cinematic experience of Adipurush on the big screen.
