Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan to release on August 25

Megastar Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan, which emerged as the biggest hit in his entire career. Now, SRK has been busy shooting for Jawan, opposite Nayanthara. The film marks Nayanthara’s Bollywood debut. Jawan is being directed by talented director Atlee. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi.

Jawan has been a target for numerous rumours, since its announcement was made. Reportedly, earlier it was making rounds that Jawan will be released on June 29 but now reports claim, the film has been delayed, and will release on the big screen on August 25.

A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, “Jawan is most definitely not releasing on June 2 or 29. The film will instead be released on August 25”. Explaining further, the source said, “The delay was on the account of VFX. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee were very clear that they wanted a fine-tuned world-class product for the audience”.

For the unversed, SRK also has Dunki, directed by Raju Hirani. Tapsee Pannu will be the female lead of the film. The actor will also be seen in the YRF spy universe upcoming films.
