A recent video interview of Janhvi Kapoor on the show Social Media Star has been making rounds on the internet. The actress revealed an amusing incident from her childhood where she had been misspelling her name for eight long years due to a mistake made by her mother, the late Sridevi. Janhvi shared how she had asked her mom to spell her name when she was learning how to spell but Sridevi had misspelt it as “J-A-N-H-A-V-I,” and Janhvi had blindly followed it for years. It wasn’t until she opened her passport at the age of 12 that she realized her mistake and exclaimed, “My whole life has been a lie!”

Janhvi shared a special bond with her mother, who passed away in 2018 and often reminisces about her. On the work front, Janhvi has been keeping busy with her upcoming projects. She is set to make her debut in Telugu cinema alongside Jr NTR in a film directed by Koratala Siva. There are also rumours that she might star opposite Ram Charan in Buchi Babu’s directorial. In Bollywood, she will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan.

Despite being a relatively new face in Bollywood, Janhvi has made a name for herself in the industry with her performances in films like Dhadak, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and Roohi. With a promising line-up of projects, she is sure to continue winning hearts in the future as well.
