On Tuesday, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar was stopped by security personnel at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport for routine checking. Johar, who was on his way to board a flight, was asked by the security guard to show his ID and travel documents.

In a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Karan Johar can be seen wearing a black T-shirt, white jacket, and baggy black joggers, along with black sunglasses and carrying a big bag. Despite being friendly with the paparazzi, he cooperated with the security personnel and handed over his documents for verification.

It is unclear whether Johar was traveling for work or on holiday. Johar is currently busy with post-production work on his upcoming directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.

The incident serves as a reminder that even celebrities are subject to airport security checks and must comply with the rules and regulations like any other traveler.
