Vijay Deverakonda’s Fans Playfully Tease Rashmika Mandanna at Song Launch Event

At a recent song launch event for Vijay Deverakonda‘s brother Anand Deverakonda‘s upcoming Telugu film Baby, fans playfully teased actress, Rashmika Mandanna. As Rashmika joined the cast and crew on stage and addressed the fans, they began chanting ‘Vadina,’ meaning sister-in-law in Telugu. This lighthearted teasing was a result of ongoing rumours about a romantic relationship between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna.

During her speech, Rashmika expressed her love and best wishes to the Baby team, mentioning her admiration for Anand’s music sense. However, she momentarily paused when she noticed the crowd chanting something. Realizing that they were chanting ‘Vadina, Vadina’ (sister-in-law), she laughed off the teasing and continued speaking.

Baby, directed by Sai Rajesh, features Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles. The film has already released a few songs, which have received a positive response from fans.

Despite the ongoing dating rumours, both Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda maintain that they are just friends. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha a few months ago, Rashmika emphasized their close friendship. She acknowledged the attention from social media and found the fan videos cute but clarified that she and Vijay don’t discuss it extensively. They share a close bond with a group of 15 friends and enjoy playing board games together. While their professional lives keep them in the spotlight, their friendship and grounded nature are equally important to them.
