On the 80th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan, it seems that the surprises the actor is receiving are never-ending. From fans showering their love on him in cinema halls to production houses doing something special for the star associated with their films, the surprises keep flowing in. After a whole film festival dedicated to him and tributes from several colleagues who have worked with him poured in, the next one in line is this special treat planned by the members of Project K, which is directed by Nag Ashwin and also stars superstar Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

Taking to Twitter, the production house backing the sci-fi film Project K has released a new poster from the highly anticipated pan-India film. Although no look has been revealed, the poster, released as a tribute to Bachchan Sr. looks action-packed as it features a ruggedly bandaged fist and reads, ‘Legends Are Immortal’. Sharing it on Twitter, Vyjayanthi Movies captioned it saying, “A powerhouse that has entertained for more than 5 decades! Can’t wait to show the world the new avatar you’ve unleashed this time. Here’s to the 80th & many more! May the force be with you always & you’re the force behind us @SrBachchan sir – Team #ProjectK”

Speaking of Project K, the film is currently in its production stages. The cast and crew also completed a major schedule in Hyderabad. A source close to the film had confirmed the same adding, “Prabhas has now completed one more schedule of Project K, in Hyderabad. The schedule was about a week long, which was wrapped up on July 21, shot at Ramoji Film City.”

The Nag Ashwin directorial will mark the comeback of the Piku actors together, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. The latter is expected to be seen in a crucial role in the film but the details are kept under wraps. It is also the first time where Deepika will be paired alongside Baahubali actor Prabhas.
