Kangana Ranaut plays Holi with the team of Chandramukhi 2

Readers would be aware that Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for Chandramukhi 2, the sequel to the Rajinikanth, Jyothika, and Nayanthara starrer. A day ago, as the world celebrated Holi with their loved ones, Kangana had a working day. But the actress decided to rejoice in the festive spirits anyway as she arrived on the sets of the film with a bag full of colours and celebrated it with the crew of the film.

In a video posted by Kangana Ranaut, the actress was seen on the lavish sets of Chandramukhi 2. While she has been sharing glimpses of her shoot experience, this time around, she gave a better sneak peek on the lavishly-mounted sets of the film as she was seen roaming around the entire the set with a plate full of gulaal. For the unversed, Holi is considered to be the festival of colours which is celebrated by applying colour on one another. Keeping up with the tradition, Kangana was seen applying gulaal on everyone present on the sets, including the technicians as well as the director of the film Vasu. The actress posted the video on Instagram saying, “Holi this morning on Chandramukhi sets… <3”.

Talking about Chandramukhi 2, the film will feature Raghava Lawrence. After Thalaivi in which she essayed the role of Jayalalitha, this is Kangana’s next South project. Although details of the film are being kept under wraps, recently the actress revealed that she took up extensive dancing lessons to play the lead role in the film.

Coming to her other professional commitments, Kangana Ranaut has wrapped up the shoot of Emergency co-starring Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, among others. The historical drama will see her in the role of India’s female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. On the other hand, the actress also has the film Tejas in the pipeline, in which she will be seen in the role of an air force pilot.
