Ranveer Singh has undoubtedly delivered one of the most acclaimed performances with 83, in which he transformed to become the legendary Indian captain Kapil Dev on screen. He won his 5th Filmfare Best Actor award! Ranveer has now won 4 Filmfare Best Actor trophies in the last 6 editions of this prestigious ceremony. Celebrity his big victory, Deepika was not only presented at the ceremony, she also took to social media to praise him.
Deepika Padukone, who was the co-producer on the project, took to her Instagram to share a Ranveer Singh holding the black lady trophy as she wrote, “Simply the best. Better than all the rest.” Deepika played his wife in the film.
At the ceremony, Ranveer brought Deepika on stage and said, “How I wish you – ‘Ranveer Singh powered by Deepika Padukone’.”
On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Shankar’s Anniyan remake.
