In the midst of basking in the glory of her recent blockbuster, “Jawan,” featuring the iconic Shah Rukh Khan, actress Priyamani has found herself at the center of a controversy fueled by online trolls. The film, poised to make history by entering the illustrious Rs 1000-crore club, has garnered immense praise and adoration from fans worldwide. Nevertheless, Priyamani’s journey to success has been marred by relentless online trolling, particularly targeting her appearance, age, and personal choices.

The “Family Man” star, who is currently 38 years old, did not mince words when responding to derogatory comments about her age, confidently stating, “I am 38 years old, but I am still hot, though. Shut your mouth.” Priyamani has been a vocal advocate for self-acceptance and has stood firmly against body-shaming and the toxic culture of criticizing celebrities for their looks.

Online trolls have not only attacked Priyamani for her age but have also resorted to criticizing her skin color and her choice to appear without makeup. The actress, undeterred by these comments, affirmed her self-confidence, saying, “This is me, this is who I am, and I am very comfortable with the way I am.”

In addition to appearance-related trolling, Priyamani faced backlash when she got engaged to Mustafa Raj, a Muslim man. Responding to the negativity, she boldly declared, “It’s my life… and I am not answerable to anyone apart from my parents and my fiancé.” Her unwavering stance against the online hate has garnered support from her fans and colleagues in the film industry, who admire her resilience and refusal to conform to societal expectations.

As “Jawan” continues to break records at the box office, Priyamani’s journey serves as a testament to the power of self-confidence and self-love, setting an inspiring example for all to follow. In an industry often plagued by unrealistic standards, she stands tall as a beacon of empowerment and authenticity, reminding us all that true beauty lies in being comfortable in one’s skin.
