Telugu Singer Kalpana Raghavendar’s Daughter Denies Mother’s Suicide Attempt

On Tuesday evening, renowned Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavendar was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious at her home in Hyderabad. Initial reports suggested that the singer had allegedly attempted suicide, but her daughter has since stepped forward to refute these claims.

Kalpana’s Daughter Denies Suicide Attempt Claims:

In a conversation with the media, Kalpana Raghavendar’s daughter strongly denied the reports suggesting her mother attempted suicide. She clarified, “My mother has no issues. She is perfectly fine, happy, and healthy. She is a singer, and she’s also working on her PhD and LLB, which caused some insomnia. To manage it, she took the prescribed medication. Unfortunately, due to stress, there was a slight overdose. Please don’t distort or misinterpret any news.”

She also shared a health update on her mother, saying, “My mother is doing well, and both my parents are happy and healthy. Everyone in my family is fine. She will be back soon. This was not a suicide attempt, just an accidental overdose of insomnia medication. Please do not spread false information.”

What Happened to Kalpana?

Around 5 pm, the KPHB police station received an emergency call from the apartment committee regarding Kalpana Raghavendar’s situation. Upon arriving at her residence, the officers found the apartment door locked. However, looking through the kitchen window, they spotted the singer lying unconscious on her bed. She was quickly taken to the hospital, where doctors confirmed she had ingested sleeping pills. Fortunately, her condition is now stable.
