Tamannaah Bhatia speaks on 39-year age gap with co-star Rajinikanth

Tamannaah Bhatia is currently gearing up for her much-anticipated film, Jailer opposite Rajinikanth. The song ‘Kaavaalaa’ which features Tamannaah has gone viral in no time and become a trend of social media. Tamannaah recently addressed questions about the age differences between her and Rajinikanth.

Tamannaah who is 33 years old, will be sharing the screen with Rajinikanth, who is 72 years old, as well as the 67-year-old superstar Chiranjeevi in Bhola Shankar. In response to queries about the age gap, Tamannaah confidently asserted that age should not be the focus rather the portrayal on-screen.

She said, “Why are you even looking at the age difference? You have to look at two characters that are being played on the screen, that’s it. If I’ve to talk about age, then I will look at Tom Cruise’s stunts even at the age of 60, and I would like to do saucy dance numbers at that age too.”

Coming to Jailer, it is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer boasts a star-studded cast including superstar Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, and Shiva Rajkumar. Jailer is set to hit screens on August 10, followed by Bhola Shankar on the 11.
