Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya recently revealed the inspiration behind the popular song ‘Jhukega Nahi Sa**a’ from the Telugu movie Pushpa: The Rise, featuring the charismatic Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. The song has been a hit among fans since its release, and the credit for its catchy dance steps goes to Ganesh Acharya. In a recent appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, the choreographer disclosed how he drew inspiration for the song’s choreography from observing people on the roadside.
Ganesh Acharya explained how he often draws inspiration from people he observes while travelling by car, such as those walking or engaging in activities on the roadside. He noticed some rugged-looking individuals standing on the side, with one person playing with his beard. Ganesh Acharya drew inspiration from the way people walked on the roadside and how their steps varied with different moods, such as when they were feeling happy or sad. He believed that these observations could add a unique touch to the dance routine and make it more engaging. Hence, he proposed to the director to incorporate them into the choreography of the first song they were shooting for the film.
Pushpa: The Rise is an action-packed Telugu drama film released in 2021, featuring Allu Arjun as the protagonist named Pushpa Raj. The movie also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in crucial roles. The plot of the movie centres on Pushpa Raj, a worker who illegally transports red sandalwood from the Seshachalam Hills located in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The film’s success led to the makers working on the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule, which is being helmed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
The makers recently unveiled a new poster featuring Allu Arjun in a distinctive look, which he shared on his social media handles. The poster reveals his appearance, which includes traditional jewellery and clothing typically worn by women in India, along with a firearm in his hand.
Ganesh Acharya’s unique inspiration for the choreography of ‘Jhukega Nahi Sa**a’ has added to the popularity of Pushpa: The Rise. With the sequel in the making, fans are eagerly waiting to see what’s in store for them.
