Pushpa 2: The Rule Team Meets with Road Accident, Some Members Severely Injured

The highly anticipated Telugu film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has encountered an unfortunate incident as a team of the blockbuster movie reportedly met with a road accident. The film’s team was travelling in a bus when it collided with another bus in Narketpally, Nalgonda district, Telangana. While some members of the team suffered severe injuries, others sustained minor injuries. The injured team members were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, and further details about the incident are awaited. As of now, the film’s makers have not issued any official statement regarding the mishap.

Pushpa: The Rise, written and directed by Sukumar, was released in 2021 and received widespread acclaim. The action drama revolved around the theme of red sandalwood smuggling. Recently, Allu Arjun shared the first-look poster of Pushpa 2, showcasing him dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. The poster also featured bangles, jewellery, a nose pin, and jhumkas, adding to the intrigue surrounding the film.

While the shooting of Pushpa 2 is currently underway, it is reported that Sai Pallavi has joined the cast. Furthermore, the makers are said to be considering the inclusion of a Bollywood actor, although no official announcement has been made regarding this.

Regarding the film’s release date, no final announcement has been made. Initially, it was speculated that Pushpa 2 would hit theaters in December 2023. However, a recent report from Pinkvilla suggests that the film is unlikely to release before May 2024. According to the entertainment portal, director Sukumar wants to ensure the best cinematic experience for the audience and is considering a slight postponement to achieve this goal.
