Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is set against the backdrop of international mafia

Superstar Prabhas has been gearing up for his most anticipated film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. It also features Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The teaser of Salaar gave a gist of its foreign backdrop. The teaser, was unveiled on July 6.

Going by the teaser of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, it has been evident that the the film will be based on international mafia and crime. reports were making rounds that the makers were keen on broadening the canvas of the massive film and hence decided to set it abroad.

For the unversed, in the teaser, we can see Tinnu Anand addressing Salaar in English to help the goons understand and it was clearly shown that the gang surrounding Anand were not Indian. The description, that Tinnu Anand gives about Prabhas’s character presents him as the powerful man.

Coming from the house of the one of the most popular action directors, Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire teaser featured some stirring visuals, a power packed background score, a mega canvas, and showcased Prabhas as well as the antagonist of the film, Prithviraj Sukumaran in never seen before avatar.

Hombale Films will present Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire which features Shruti Haasan as Aadya along with Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role. It is slated to release in theatres on September 28 in multiple languages including the four South languages and Hindi.
