The dynamic duo of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, famed for their iconic roles in the Baahubali series, once again stole the hearts of the audience at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The entire Project K team, comprising Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, and director Nag Ashwin, came together to share exciting insights about the highly anticipated film.

During the event, Prabhas found himself in a challenging situation when faced with a difficult question from the media. Feeling the pressure, the actor struggled to answer, but Rana, known for his spontaneity and cheerful nature, quickly came to his friend’s rescue. With a warm smile and unwavering support, Rana gracefully offered to take charge and answer the question on Prabhas’ behalf, stating, “What’s the difference if Bala (Bhallaladeva) answers the question or Bahu (Baahubali) answers it? We’re brothers after all.”

The camaraderie between Prabhas and Rana extends beyond their on-screen roles, evident in their social media interactions, public appearances, and interviews. Their unbreakable bond has endeared them to fans worldwide.

Project K, an ambitious Indian epic science fiction film, boasts an ensemble cast featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kamal Haasan as the antagonist. Speaking about his decision to take on the negative role, the veteran actor emphasized the significance of negative characters in creating a compelling cinematic experience.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie revolves around a modern-day incarnation of Vishnu, a Hindu god, descending to Earth to protect the world from malevolent forces. The first teaser of the film revealed a dystopian world engulfed in a deadly war, where dark forces rule, and violence and oppression prevail.

With a staggering budget of Rs 600 crore, Project K is poised to become one of the most expensive Indian films ever produced, promising a grand and visually stunning cinematic experience. Excitement is mounting among fans as the film is scheduled for release on January 12, 2024.
