However, the director swiftly clarified that his declaration was impromptu and not an official confirmation. Should his impulsive statement hold any truth, fans might witness the Kalki 2898 AD trailer debut on March 31, 2024, coincidentally falling on a Sunday.

Kalki 2898 AD emerges as Nag Ashwin’s fourth directorial venture following his notable works including Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, and the anthology segment X-Life in Pitta Kathalu. Initially introduced as Project K in 2020, the film revealed Prabhas as the lead protagonist in this futuristic tale.
