In a much-anticipated clash, Jr NTR‘s Devara: Part 1 is all set to hit theatres on April 5th, 2024. The pan-Indian release, featuring the renowned actor in the lead role, will be presented in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. However, the excitement doesn’t end there, as the film is slated to clash with two other big releases on the auspicious occasion of Eid this year.

Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn and initially expected to release in 2023, has faced delays and is now positioned to share the Eid spotlight with Devara. Directed by Amit Sharma, this biographical sports drama sees Ajay Devgn portraying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, a legendary football coach who left an indelible mark on the sport in India. Priyamani joins the cast as the female lead.

Adding to the cinematic showdown is the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Set to be an action-packed spectacle, this film also aims for an Eid release, setting the stage for a three-way clash at the box office. Prithviraj Sukumaran takes on the role of the main antagonist, with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F playing pivotal roles.

More details about Devara: Part 1 reveals that the film is a collaboration between Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva, reuniting after their successful venture, Janata Garage. This massive action-drama introduces Janhvi Kapoor in her Telugu debut, with Saif Ali Khan taking on the role of the main antagonist. The film, set against a sea-based backdrop, is the first instalment of a two-part franchise, boasting an ensemble cast featuring Prakash Raj, Narain, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and more.

As the anticipation builds, the clash of these cinematic titans on Eid promises an exhilarating experience for moviegoers, with each film bringing its unique flavour to the silver screen.
