Epic Ramayana Saga Takes Shape in Bollywood: Shooting Begins in February

Bollywood director Nitesh Tiwari has been meticulously working on bringing this timeless tale to life in a grand cinematic adaptation. The project, which has been in the works for a considerable time, has now gained significant momentum, and the excitement is palpable.

Ranbir Kapoor, the talented Bollywood heartthrob, is all set to step into the shoes of Lord Rama, portraying the iconic character with his charisma and acting prowess. As for the role of Sita, Alia Bhatt‘s name was initially associated with it. However, in a recent twist, it has been revealed that Sai Pallavi is now being considered for the part. The decision is pending a look test to ensure a perfect fit for this essential character.

The magnum opus, spanning two parts, is gearing up for its shooting schedule, commencing on February 24th of the upcoming year. The project aims to wrap up all production activities by August. Interestingly, the pivotal scene depicting the abduction of Sita, known as the “Sita Haran” episode, will be one of the first scenes to be filmed. To capture the essence of Lanka, the crew is constructing elaborate sets in Sri Lanka, promising a visually stunning depiction of the epic’s locales.

Joining the cast in a surprising twist is none other than Yash, the celebrated actor famous for his role in “KGF.” Yash is set to play the antagonist, Ravana, adding a new dimension to the character and creating heightened anticipation among fans.

This ambitious project has also garnered attention for its association with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) for VFX. The production team, led by Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena, is committed to delivering a cinematic spectacle that will leave audiences awestruck.
