Mehra took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the actor’s profile that showed she had been blocked. She also added a humorous caption, saying, “If you ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut, just remember that I acted in Varudu with Allu Arjun and STILL couldn’t get any work. Allu Arjun and Bhanushree Mehra had worked together in the 2010 Telugu romantic action drama film Varudu, which was directed by Gunasekhar. Despite the film’s release, Mehra’s career failed to take off, and she appeared in several films without much success.
