NTR Jr. to Join Hrithik Roshan in War 2, YRF’s Latest Addition to the Spy Universe

The Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) Spy Universe has been growing stronger with every new addition. Now, as per reports, the much-awaited sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War is in the works, and it will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. The latest buzz is that the movie will feature a power-packed clash between two of the biggest superstars from the Northern and Southern film industries, Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.

The move by Aditya Chopra to bring NTR Jr. on board is expected to help War 2 appeal to the widest possible audience and maximize its box office potential. A trade source, speaking on condition of anonymity, has confirmed that the young South superstar is all set to take on Hrithik in an epic action-adventure that promises to be an adrenaline-pumping spectacle.

The source also revealed that NTR Jr. is extremely choosy about his films and that his inclusion in War 2 is a testament to the plot and scale of the movie. With the YRF Spy Universe growing stronger with each new film, War 2 is expected to be one of the most anticipated films of the Indian Film Industry.

This is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2022), and the soon-to-be-released Tiger 3 (2023). The film will carry forward the events of Tiger 3 and will be followed by the Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Tiger v/s Pathaan.
