JAILER FIRST LOOK: Mohanlal looks intense in Rajinikanth starrer

Superstar Rajinikanth is back on the sets of Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, Jailer.

Superstar Rajinikanth is back on the sets of Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, Jailer. As he kicked off New Year with work, several reports earlier suggested that he is joining forces with Malayalam industry legend Mohanlal who is  making a special appearance in the upcoming movie.

The makers of the film unveiled the first look of Mohanlal from the sets. The production house Sun Pictures unveiled his first look from Rajinikanth’s 169th film and wrote, “Lalettan @mohanlal from the sets of #Jailer.”

In addition to that, several reports earlier revealed that Rajinikanth and Mohanlal will be shooting for Jailer in Chennai on January 8 and 9. It will be a 2-3 day shoot. Apart from Mohanlal, Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar will also have an important role in the actioner. While other details are kept under wraps, three important stars coming together will be a mega-moment for the fans.

The film will also see Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Vinayakan in pivotal roles. Produced by Sun Pictures, music composer Anirudh Ravichander is on board. The film is expected to release in theatres on April 14, 2023, during Tamil New Year.
