In a devastating incident that shocked the nation on Friday night, a tragic train accident occurred in Odisha’s Balasore district. The collision involved three trains: the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and a goods train. The accident resulted in the loss of more than 230 lives and left over 900 people injured. Numerous passengers were trapped inside the overturned coaches of the superfast train, and rescue operations are currently underway.

The nation mourns the loss of lives and expresses solidarity with the affected families. Several celebrities from the South Indian film industry took to Twitter to offer their condolences and express their grief over the tragic incident. Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Anil Ravipudu, and Yash were among those who shared their heartfelt messages.

Jr NTR, one of the prominent actors in the South, was among the first to react to the tragic accident. He tweeted, “Heartfelt condolences to the families and their loved ones affected by the tragic train accident. My thoughts are with every person affected by this devastating incident. May strength and support surround them during this difficult time.”

Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi expressed his shock and wrote, “Utterly shocked at the tragic Coromandel Express accident in Odisha and the huge loss of lives! My heart goes out to the bereaved families. I understand there is an urgent demand for blood units to save lives. I appeal to all our fans and good Samaritans in the nearby areas to extend all possible assistance for donating life-saving blood units. #BalasoreTrainAccident”

Director Anil Ravipudu shared his sorrow after witnessing the visuals of the train accident. He tweeted, “Shocked to see the visuals of #BalasoreTrainAccident. My deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones who are grieving. I hold each person affected by this devastating incident in my thoughts and prayers. Strength and healing during this difficult time.”

Yash, another actor deeply moved by the tragedy, expressed his condolences on Twitter. He wrote, “It’s difficult to describe in words how heart-wrenching the train tragedy in Odisha is. My deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, and I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. Gratitude to the people who have come out in large numbers to help with rescue operations.”
