In a recent official announcement, the makers of the highly anticipated Telugu film, “Guntur Kaaram,” have confirmed a significant change in its cast. Meenakshi Chaudhary, the former Miss Grand International 2018 first runner-up, is set to step into the film as the second lead, while Sreeleela will now be essaying the role previously assigned to Pooja Hegde.

Meenakshi Chaudhary, who made her acting debut in 2021 with the Telugu film “Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu,” has already wrapped up the first schedule of “Guntur Kaaram.” Expressing her excitement about working with the renowned actor Mahesh Babu, Meenakshi said, “I have always been a big fan of Mahesh Babu Garu. We just wrapped up the first schedule, and my first day’s first shot was with Mahesh Babu Garu. I was beyond grateful.”

The decision to replace Pooja Hegde was prompted by constant changes in the script and shooting timelines. The team faced challenges with scheduling, leading to delays and multiple reshoots of already shot sequences. Amid these uncertainties, Pooja Hegde eventually chose to step down from the project, citing date issues.

“Guntur Kaaram” marks the highly awaited reunion of Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas after a decade. The duo has previously delivered blockbuster hits like “Athadu” and “Khaleja.” The film also boasts the musical talents of S Thaman. As per the latest information, “Guntur Kaaram” is all set for a grand Sankranthi release on January 12, 2024.

Meenakshi Chaudhary’s inclusion in “Guntur Kaaram” marks her fourth venture in the Telugu film industry. Having already showcased her acting prowess in “Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu,” “Khiladi,” and “HIT 2,” fans are eagerly anticipating her performance alongside the charismatic Mahesh Babu and talented Sreeleela.

The buzz around “Guntur Kaaram” continues to grow, with fans eagerly waiting to witness the magic of the Mahesh Babu-Trivikram Srinivas collaboration on the big screen once again. As the film gears up for its grand release, the excitement among audiences is palpable, with all eyes on the captivating performances that the cast, led by Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sreeleela, will deliver in this highly anticipated Telugu offering.
