Kamal Haasan gifts Indian 2 director Shankar expensive watch worth Rs 8 lakh

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan has been gearing up for Shankar’s Indian 2. The film has been in the making for a while has created lots of anticipation as it is the sequel to the iconic 1996 film Indian. Now, Kamal Haasan has watched a few scenes from the film and is very delighted with the end result. He is so happy that he chose to gift a costly watch to its director, Shankar.

After watching scenes from the film, Kamal Haasan has gifted a token of appreciation to its director, Shankar. He gifted Shankar with a Panerai Luminor watch. The watch is worth a whopping Rs 8,00,000. Through the tweet that Haasan has put out, it certainly seems that the actor is artistically satisfied with his upcoming film.

The first part, Indian was India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 1996 Oscars. It was the highest-grossing Tamil film at the time of its release. Kamal also won the National Award for Best Actor for the film.
