Jr NTR to Attend Global Premiere of Devara: Part 1

Jr NTR was recently spotted at the airport as he departed for Los Angeles to attend Beyond Fest 2024. The festival will feature the global premiere of Devara: Part 1 among other international films, marking it as the sole Indian film to receive such recognition this year.

Accompanied by his wife Lakshmi Pranathi, Jr NTR embarked on his journey early this morning under tight security. Videos capturing his airport arrival have quickly gone viral on social media, showcasing the actor’s casual yet stylish travel attire.

Beyond Fest is a renowned film festival celebrated for its showcase of critically acclaimed movies. Prior to Devara, Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR made its mark at the festival. According to Beyond Fest’s official page, this year’s lineup includes 82 features screened across four theaters. Alongside Devara, films like Salem’s Lot, Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color, The Apprentice, and Shin Godzilla: ORTHOchromatic are set to captivate audiences.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR departed for LA shortly after chaos erupted in Hyderabad due to the cancellation of Devara’s pre-release event. The sudden decision led to unrest among fans, resulting in vandalism in the vicinity. In response, the makers of Devara issued a statement, expressing regret over the abrupt cancellation. They cited unfavorable weather conditions, particularly heavy rains in recent weeks, as the reason for calling off the outdoor event.

“We were eagerly anticipating this day after years of hard work on the film, especially since it marks NTR’s solo return to the screen after six years,” the Devara team stated.
