The makers recently confirmed on social media that They Call Him OG will release worldwide on September 25, 2025. Sharing the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), they wrote:

Originally slated for a September 27 release, there had been speculation that the film might hit screens as early as September 5. With the official date now revealed, fans can finally mark their calendars with certainty.

Adding to the excitement, actor Silambarasan TR recently revealed that he has lent his voice to a song in They Call Him OG. Speaking at a promotional event in Hyderabad for Thug Life, he shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration, praising music director Thaman for his work. Silambarasan described it as a dream come true to sing for Pawan Kalyan and hinted that the song will be released soon.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife that Tamannaah Bhatia might feature in the same track. While fans are eager to see her join the project, the filmmakers have yet to make any official announcement regarding her appearance.

They Call Him OG is an upcoming Telugu gangster action drama directed by Sujeeth, renowned for his work on Saaho. The film follows the story of a formidable gangster who returns to Mumbai after ten years to settle old scores and confront a long-standing rival. Blending intense action with emotional depth, the movie promises to deliver a gripping cinematic experience.

The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead, alongside a stellar ensemble cast that includes Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, Priyanka Mohan, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
