Ram Charan and his wife Upasana are expecting their first child, announces Chiranjeevi

Actor Chiranjeevi has announced that his son, actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela are expecting their first child. Taking to Twitter on Monday, Chiranjeevi shared a post. It read, “With the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji we are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love & gratitude Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela Shobana and Anil Kamineni.”

Ram shared the post on his Twitter account with red heart and folded hands emojis. Fans took to the comments section to wish the couple with congratulatory messages. A person tweeted, “Awee little mega power star is arriving soon…” “Congratulations Anna,” said a fan. “Congratulations my dear little boss,” wrote a person. “Congratulations‼️ I wish you and your new family happiness,” tweeted another fan.

In June, Ram Charan jetted off with Upasana to an undisclosed location to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. Ahead of their trip, pictures and video of the couple from the airport had surfaced on social media.

Ram Charan recently took to Twitter to announce his next project with director Buchi Babu Sana. Tipped to be a sports drama, the film will see Ram collaborate with the director for the first time. Sharing the news about the yet-untitled film, Ram said he’s excited. “Excited about this! Looking forward to working with @BuchiBabuSana & the entire team (sic).” Ram had tweeted.

As per a statement, the project will be a pan-Indian film as it will be made in multiple languages. To be jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas, the project is slated to go on the floors later this month.

Ram Charan is currently shooting for his next film with filmmaker Shankar. Dubbed RC 15, the makers recently revealed SJ Suryah has been roped in for a crucial role. He took to Twitter to welcome Suryah on board. The project also stars Kiara Advani and marks Ram’s maiden collaboration with Shankar.

It is believed that a 1970 period set is currently being put up in Ramoji Film City to shoot key scenes in the movie. In this schedule, action sequences alone will be shot for 25 days. In the movie, Ram is said to be playing an IAS officer with anger issues. Kiara plays his co-star.

In April, the team completed a schedule in Amritsar where Ram took out time to meet the soldiers of the Border Security Force. He also organized langar at the Golden temple.
