MS Dhoni turns producer, announces title of maiden Tamil film starring Harish Kalyan and Ivana

Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni enjoys a massive fan following across the country, especially in Tamil Nadu. For the unversed, the cricketer calls Chennai his second hometown, as he plays for the Indian state in the domestic T20 league. In October 2022, he decided to make his entry into Kollywood by producing films. Today, on January 27, Dhoni has finally unveiled the title of his maiden Tamil film along with the cast.

The verified social media handle of MS Dhoni’s production banner, Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd, shared the title, look motion poster, followed by the announcement of the lead actor. MS Dhoni’s debut project as a producer is titled Let’s Get Married. The animated motion poster of Let’s Get Married opens with a caravan on a forested road. It gives us a sneak peek at the cast of the film, which includes Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Nadia and Yogi Babu.

The caption of the post read, “We’re super excited to share, Dhoni Entertainment’s first production titled #LGM – #LetsGetMarried! Title look motion poster out now!” In no time, fans flooded the comments section with best wishes for the cricketer-turned-producer. “All the best thala,” wrote a Twitter user while another commented, “Promising Casting,” followed by a red heart and fire emoticons.

Debutante director Ramesh Tamilmani will direct the forthcoming family entertainer. The film shooting has been planned to be wrapped up shortly. Nadia and Yogi Babu will be playing crucial roles. Meanwhile, Viswajith will be scoring the music, while the editing is to be done by Pradeep Ragav, who earlier did the editing for the Tamil films Kathakali, Tik Tik Tik, Comali, and Love Today.
